Leather shield pool table pockets for sale including a collection of our most popular shield pocket designs made in the USA with the highest quality leathers and craftsmanship available in the billiard industry. Each shield pocket is made from a piece of vegetable-tanned leather that is shaped, trimmed and embossed by hand. All sewing is backstitched for added strength and durablilty.
These leather shield style pool table pockets are sold in sets of 6 and are available in standard leather colors of beige, black, chocolate, cordovan, maroon, navy, russet and natural. Pockets are also available in deluxe Avanzato leather colors that capture the essence of fine Italian leather for a high-end look and feel. These colors include: Dark Walnut, Medium Brown, Oak, Pecan, Red Oak, Rosewood and Sedona.

All these color leathers and shield styles are available in the more common #6 iron mounts and also in the top mount #3 irons in either antique brass or chrome finishes. Please select mount style below when ordering. How do you tell which pocket style you need? #6 pocket irons are the most common irons used today. They have a round post on each end of the iron that goes into the rail and a bolt screws into it from the bottom. Also available are #3 irons, which have a rectangle flange that sits on top of the rail and are used on older pool tables.
Please note: If your table is a really old table; older than 35-40 years old, these pockets will probably not fit your table because of inconsistences in manufacturing pocket irons during these early years. Your best bet would be to have your exsisting pockets rebuilt. We can have our pocket manufacturer rebuild your pockets for between $400 and $450 plus shipping.
