This pool table cover is indeed heavy-duty. The pool table cover is made out thick, brown or black, backed "naugahide" (vinyl) that has an aged leather look. It is fitted (like a fitted sheet), so that the pool table's top and sides are protected. The side curtain measures 7-1/2" high. The seams are double-stitched and reinforced. It should be spill-proof (unless you're spilling battery acid!) and cat-proof (so long as your cat isn't a tiger!), and will add longevity to your table's finish and extend your cloth life. Measuring the outside of your pool table, 7 foot size fits up to 89" x 50", 8 foot size fits up to 98" x 54" and 9 foot size fits up to 109" x 60" size tables.
